Whether you\u2019re an active gardener or simply looking for a way to get involved in Chicago, the show can use your help. The Chicago Flower & Garden Show annually draws in more than 40,000 attendees to the Festival Halls in Navy Pier, meaning it\u2019s \u201call hands on deck\u201d for the development and management of each event.<\/p>\n

For that reason, we\u2019re always looking for extra hands to support the success of the Chicago Flower & Garden Show with volunteer positions. We have a variety of on-site opportunities that put you in the mix of the show\u2019s excitement\u2014each giving you a different perspective and chance to be involved. Opportunities include:<\/p>\n

\n

Chef Assistants:<\/b><\/span> Help out on the Garden Gourmet cooking stage as a sous chef. Assistants will help with food preparation, sample distribution and clean up.<\/p>\n

Badge Assistants:<\/b><\/span> Work in the badge kiosk\/show office as a customer service representative to our exhibitors. Badge Assistants will help distribute and retrieve exhibitor badges during the show.<\/p>\n

Group Tour Assistants:<\/b><\/span> Greet customers and groups to Navy Pier arriving by bus. You will also help check them in with necessary ticket\/guide information.<\/p>\n

How-to Garden Assistants: <\/b><\/span>Flex your gardening muscle by assisting Master Gardeners while they host demonstrations. Responsibilities include ensuring each student has a clean workplace and all the supplies they need.<\/p>\n

Information Assistants:<\/b><\/span> Interact with attendees at one of our two Information Kiosks on the show floor. Duties will primarily consist of answering questions about the show and Navy Pier.\u00a0However, they may also include data entry and tabulating for the seminars as needed.<\/p>\n
